Thermal therapies

Revitalization of muscle tissue and joints

A combination of a massage and a sweat therapy recommended for neurological and musculoskeletal problems.

Pinda swedana is an important part of the therapy for people with muscle problems, which is especially often among people with Vata imbalance, who often also experience problems with their joints.

The body and its’ aching joints and muscles are massaged vigorously with warm herbal bags, draining toxins and giving relief to pain and tension in the affected areas.

Ayurvedic sauna for more resistant organism

Swedana is a herbal steam bath for the whole body performed in a specially designed seating chamber.

The heating of the whole body by means of the herbal steam expands the capillaries and tissue fissures. This makes it easier for the toxins to be discharged from the tissues.

Although the word ‘swedana’ literally means sweating, the purpose of this treatment is not sweating but spreading of energy channels (shrotas) and capillaries, enabling easier drainage of toxins (ama) from tissues.
